Nesti is a small, independent outfit based in the UK. We started it for a boring reason: shopping for bedding online is a mess of inflated thread counts and vague words like "luxury", and we wanted a straight answer about what's worth buying. So we test things ourselves and write up what we'd actually tell a friend.
Who writes this
Most of our bedding guides are written by Sophie Whitaker, who's spent the better part of a decade writing about homeware, with a hand from a couple of regular contributors. When someone's tested a product themselves, we say so; when we're going on materials, standards and reader feedback, we say that too.
What we do
We dig into materials, weaves, certifications and UK sizing, then explain them in plain English. Our buying guides rank options by what they're genuinely best for — hot sleepers, sensitive skin, cold winters, sustainability — not by who's paying us, because nobody is.

How we research
Our content draws on textile standards (such as OEKO-TEX® and GOTS), UK mattress and bedding sizing, and hands-on experience with the materials we cover. We update guides as products, prices and standards change.
